SUD teamed with Fearn-Clendaniel on the construction of the brand-new Newark Charter Jr./Sr. High School. This project involved the transformation of a former commercial/industrial property into a new home for over 1,000 students. Construction included extensive renovations and demolition-work to the existing warehouse facility, along with a 10,000 SF gymnasium addition. SUD’s project team worked with Newark Charter and the Design Team to establish a budget and develop value engineering alternatives in order to include all of the owners desired building features.
